About Dr. Prindeze

Dr. Nicholas Prindeze is a general and gastrointestinal surgeon specializing in diseases of the esophagus and stomach. His clinical practice includes foregut cancer surgery, particularly gastric and esophageal cancers, as well as gastroesophageal reflux disease, hiatal and paraesophageal hernias, complex abdominal wall reconstruction, and other general surgical conditions.

Dr. Prindeze completed his general surgery residency at Georgetown University in Washington, DC and advanced fellowship training at the University of California, Irvine, with an emphasis on minimally invasive and advanced gastrointestinal surgery. He also has an extensive background in engineering and medical device development, including training in medical technology innovation through Stanford Biodesign — combining technical expertise with clinical and surgical practice.

Dr. Prindeze is committed to advancing cancer care through multidisciplinary treatment, clinical research, and surgical innovation, with academic interests focused on improving cancer outcomes and developing new technologies that address unmet needs in surgical care.
